WAYNE, NJ --
Nicole Mallard netted a career-high 26 points to help Rowan to its fourth win in a row as the Profs scored an 80-64 win at William Paterson Saturday afternoon.
Mallard was 8-for-11 from the floor, adding a game-high 11 rebounds and six steals as the Profs led from start from finish.Â
Grace Marshall hit three of the team's eight three pointers to finish with 17 points while
Savanna Holt kicked 11.
Qiana Vigo led the Pioneers with 14 points off the bench. Teammate Justina Cabezas added 12 points and eight boards.
Rowan turned a 38-31 lead at halftime into an 18-point lead after three quarters. A 7-0 run to start the second half, capped by a big three from
Kristina Johnson gave the Profs a double-digit lead the visitors held the rest of the way.
Sam Rinaldi's three pointer midway through the fourth gave Rowan its largest lead (78-57) of the contest.
As a team, the Profs shot 43.3% (29-of-67) from the floor and held a 46-41 rebound edge.
Next up for Rowan is Muhlenberg in the final home game of the calendar year a week from Saturday here at Esbjornson Gym in a 2 p.m. tip.
