CAMDEN, NJ – Arian Azemi scored 18 points and pulled down a career-high 18 rebounds as Rowan cruised to a 95-64 win over Rutgers-Camden in an NJAC men's basketball contest. The win improves Rowan to 6-1 (2-1 NJAC).
 
It marked Azemi's first double-double as a Prof while he made four three-pointers. D'Andre Vilmar and Marcellus Ross scored 14 points apiece for Rowan, which has won three in a row. Vilmar shot 6-of-8 from the field and Ross connected on 4-of-8 three-pointers, while Connor Dickerson added 12 points.
 
The took command early, going on a 15-2 run to take a 25-11 lead, with five points from Marcellus Ross. Late in the half, Rowan scored 10 straight points as Connor Dickerson hit three free throws and Azemi netted five to give the Profs a 43-18 lead.
 
Rowan led 53-24 at halftime and kept rolling from that point maintaining a lead of 20-plus points the rest of the way. The Profs took their biggest lead of the game, 91-58, with 3:03 remaining.
 
The Profs shot 40 percent from the field and connected on 26 percent from three-point range, but forced 35 Rutgers-Camden turnovers, in which Rowan scored 36 points.
 
Rowan continues its six-game road trip as it heads to William Paterson on Saturday afternoon.
