WAYNE, NJ – Rowan took down William Paterson, 103-79, Saturday afternoon in a New Jersey Athletic Conference game.
Josh Wright scored 19 points, hitting five of the team's 14 three-pointers, to lead five Profs in double figures.
Holding a 48-44 lead at halftime, the Profs shot over 52% in the second half to outscore the home Pioneers by 20 points in picking up its fourth NJAC victory.
Andrew Seager (15 points),
Travis Holland (15 points),
Marcellus Ross (14 points), and
Connor Dickerson (10 points) all reached double figures in the win. The Profs also turned 26 William Paterson turnover into 36 points.
For the Pioneers, Nick Rodriguez led the home team with 16 points. Adryan Lopez kicked in 10 points and eight boards.
William Paterson climbed within 59-58 with 15 minutes in the second half before a three-pointer from
Travis Holland ignited a 16-0 game-changing run to help secure the outcome.
The Profs won the battle on the glass, 51-38, led by nine caroms from Seager. Holland and Ross also drained four triples as well.
Rowan travels to Salisbury on Friday, December 17th for a non-conference tilt starting at 7 p.m.
