STATEN ISLAND NY -- The men's indoor track & field team got its 2021-22 season underway in the Fasttrack Season Opener at the Ocean Breeze Complex on Friday with a pair of first place finishes to highlight the Profs. There was no team scoring at the event.

FINAL RESULTS

Nana Agyemang won the long jump with a top mark of 7.01 meters while Jake Kolodziej took the 800 meters in a time of 1:55.75

Amara Conte tied for fourth 400 meters (49.42) while Joe DeVito was fourth in the 800 meters (1:56.40). Jah'mere Beasley qualified for the 60 meter finals, where he placed seventh (7.07). He also took second in the 200 meters (22.12).

In the 4x400 relay, the team of Beasley, Kolodziej, Conte and Ahmir Johnson was fourth in a time of 3:20.56.

The team will return to action on January 21st when the team heads back to the Ocean Breeze Complex for the New York City Gotham Cup.
