UNION, NJ – Fourth-seeded Rowan and third-seeded Kean played through two overtime periods and had the 2021 NJAC Men's Soccer Championship decided on a round of penalty kicks. Kean captured the conference title by scoring a 4-3 advantage in the penalty kicks. Rowan, the fourth seed in the tournament, is hopeful of receiving an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Chad Yates and
Luke Yates each made their attempts for Rowan (12-4-1) but Kean (13-4) notched the all-important fourth penalty kick made by David Garcia to give the Cougars the title.
The teams went through 90 minutes of scoreless soccer in an evenly-matched contest with Kean holding a slim 12-10 edge in shots.

James Weinberg made six saves in the contest, posting a shutout for the eighth time this season.
The Profs will now await a possible selection to the NCAA Tournament.
