UNION, NJ -- Rowan won 11 of 14 events to go and defeat Kean, 184-69, in its NJAC opener Friday afternoon.
FINAL RESULTS
The dual meet produced a pair of individual multi-winners in
Jordan McChesney and
Emma Padros. McChesney was victorious in both the 100 (55.45) and 200 Free (2:02.89) with Padros taking the 1000 Free (11:13.94) and 200 Backstroke (2:16.12).
McChesney also teamed with
Nicole Harms,
Gabby Buck, and
Kylie Salerno for first place in the 200 Medley Relay (1:54.60). Later, McChesney and Harms joined
Laura Jones and
Elizabeth Jones to win the 200 Free Relay (1:44.35).
Buck captured the 100 Butterfly (1:03.13) while Salerno was first in the 100 Backstroke (1:04.60).
The team is back in the pool next weekend with a pair of NJAC contests. On Friday, November 5th, Rowan welcomes William Paterson before heading to Montclair State the following day.
