FINAL RESULTS
GLASSBORO, NJ -- #19 Rowan men's swimming & diving opened their 2021-22 season with a 182-70 win over visiting York on Saturday at the Tony Lisa Natatorium.
Kevin Gillooly spearheaded four events winning the 100 Backstroke (51.45) and the 100 Free (46.85). He, along with
Greg Cann,
Kevin Yanagisawa, and
Alex Volin were first in the 200 Medley Relay (1:36.39). In the 200 Free Relay, the team of Gillooly
Andrew Fenton,
Matt Maretic, and
Matt DeGennaro were victorious in a time of 1:25.75.
Cann,
Tobias Cahnbley and
Joe Rucci also scored two individual wins on the day. Cann was first in the 100 (1:00.24) and 200 Breaststroke (2:13.31). Cahnbley was triumphant in the 1000 Free (9:53.60) and the 200 Backstroke (1:52.82). Rucci earned the top spot in the 200 Butterfly (1:50.84) and the 200 IM (1:56.04).
Other first place Profs were: Volin in the 200 Free (1:44.48), Fenton in the 50 Free (21.33), Yanagisawa in the 100 Butterfly (52.68), and
Justin Goglia in the 500 Free (5:01.47).
The Profs will begin its NJAC slate when they host William Paterson here on Friday, November 5th at 4:00 p.m.
