UNION, NJ – Kean scored a goal in each half to defeat Rowan, 2-0, in NJAC men's soccer action this evening at Kean Alumni Stadium. It marks the Profs' first loss since September 25 as they had a streak of four matches without a defeat, as their record moves to 9-2-1 (4-2-1 NJAC).
Matt O'Shea got Kean on the board with a goal at 26:05 and then added to the score at 58:05 with a goal by Nikolas Theoudoulidis.
Kean held a slight 14-9 edge in shots, and a 5-2 advantage in corner kicks.

James Weinberg was needed to make seven saves on the evening, with five in the second half.
The Profs will take on rival Montclair State on Saturday evening as part of Rowan's Homecoming Weekend at 7 p.m. The Profs' 1981 NCAA Championship team will be honored at halftime of the match.
