GLASSBORO, NJ –
Chad Yates scored two goals, including the winning goal just two minutes into overtime, as Rowan rallied to defeat Stockton, 2-1 in an NJAC men's soccer matchup. It is the fourth game without a loss for the Profs as they improve to 9-1-1 and 4-1-1 in the league.
Yates tied the match when
Junior Miranda sent him a through ball and Yates made his move around a defender to score at 64:47.
Wilby Alfred set up the winning goal as he dribbled towards the box and Yates one-timed a blast from outside the box for the golden goal at 92:17.
"This game is a big rivalry game. All NJAC games are tough, but this matchup always brings a different intensity. It's a big win!

Stockton (8-6-1; 4-2 NJAC) opened the scoring in the match at 33:24 as Sebi Morrello came up with the ball after a scrum in front of the net, with Dante Montesinos picking up the assist.
Rowan held just a 15-10 edge in shots, while goalkeeper
James Weinberg made four saves on the evening.
Next up for the Profs is a visit to Kean on Saturday, October 16 in a 1 p.m. start.
