GALLOWAY, NJ – The Rowan University women's basketball team outscored Stockton University, 29-17 in the fourth quarter on the way to a 73-57 victory.
The Profs were ahead 44-40 going into the last period. They started the fourth with a 14-3 run to lead 58-43 at 6:07. Guard

Marshall's layup made the score 63-47 with 4:56 left. Twice Rowan led by 19 points, 67-48 at 3:50 after guard
Kennedy Brown hit two free throws and 70-51 with a jumper by Santana with 1:47 remaining. In the second half, Marshall scored 12 points while Santana had 10.
Marshall ended the game with 17 points and seven rebounds. Santana followed with 16 points and 11 boards. Mallard totaled 14 points, seven rebounds, four assists and five steals. Johnson grabbed 14 boards and blocked five shots.
Rowan is 18-3 overall and 12-2 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC). The Profs are tied for first place in the conference with Montclair State University. The Red Hawks won 87-40 against New Jersey City University on Wednesday night. Rowan hosts Montclair State on Saturday, Feb. 8 at 1 p.m. in a battle for the number one spot in the NJAC.
For the Ospreys, guard Emily Donzanti scored a game-high 23 points. Forwards Ionyonia Alves and Raquel Harris-Scott and guard Maddy McCracken contributed with seven points apiece. Alves collected 12 rebounds. Stockton has an 8-13 record with a 3-11 conference mark.
