GLASSBORO, NJ – Three players were in double figures for the Rowan University women's basketball team in an 84-53 win against Ramapo College.
Guard
Nicole Mallard led the way with 18 points, six rebounds and four assists. Forward
Jazlyn Duverglas and guard
Savanna Holt contributed with 12 and 11 points respectively. Forward
Eliana Santana grabbed 10 boards while center
Ayanna Johnson added eight. Guard
Alexis Kriley and Holt chipped in with six rebounds apiece.
The Profs are 17-3 overall and 11-2 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. The Roadrunners have a 9-11 record with a 3-10 conference mark. Center Jessica Repasy scored 11 points for Ramapo and guard Samantha Rinaldi followed with 10.
The Profs were ahead 13-12 after the first quarter and they outscored the Roadrunners in the second, 24-11 to lead 37-23 at the break. Rowan was up 29-23 with 2:09 left and scored eight straight points to end the second period. Guards

Juliette Tobin each hit a three while Mallard had a layup.
In the third, Mallard sank two foul shots (4:53), which made the score 47-29. Holt scored with a three (3:44) while Mallard had two more free throws (3:05) and a layup (2:47) to lead by 24 (55-31). With under a minute left, Tobin drilled a three and had a foul shot then Holt made a three for a 29 point advantage (64-35) going into the final quarter.
The Profs' biggest lead of the game was 39 points (77-38) with 4:52 remaining after two points at the line by Holt. In the second half, Mallard totaled 14 points and Holt had 11.
