This feature of "Know Your Profs" is with sophomore
Lindsay Cave from the women's swimming & diving team. She competes in the freestyle and individual medley. Last year, Cave swam season bests of 1:59.82 in the 200 freestyle and 5:14.93 in the 500. She finished the 1000 freestyle in 11:16.30. Her best swims in the 200 and 400 individual medleys were 2:15.66 and 4:53.46 respectively.
What was the biggest factor that led you to choose Rowan?
The biggest factors that led me to choose Rowan was the variety of academic programs and the swim team just seemed like one big family.
What is your most memorable moment in sports, whether at Rowan or before?
My most memorable moment in sports was winning the Metropolitan Championships last year.
If you could play any other sport in college, what would it be and why?
If I could play another sport in college it would be volleyball because I used to play when I was younger and I still like to play with my friends at the beach.
Who was your biggest role model growing up?
Both my mom and my dad have been role models to me my entire life. They have shown me that patience and hard work leads to success.
If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go and why?
I would travel to Australia because I really want to see the Great Barrier Reef and go to the beaches.

Netflix, favorite show is Money Heist
Who is your favorite professional athlete or team?
My favorite professional team is The Philadelphia Eagles

Which do you prefer – online classes or in person?
In person classes, it can be really hard to focus in online classes.
What is your major at Rowan and what are your career aspirations?
My major is Biological Sciences and I hope to either practice medicine or do research in more environmentally related fields.
What's the best thing about being a Prof?
The best thing about being a Prof is definitely all of the friendships I have made.
