GLASSBORO, NJ - Rowan's men's soccer program has been named to the "Programs That Inspire" list for 2020 as named by CollegeAthleticAdvisor.com. The Profs are being recognized as one of the 20 most inspiring men's programs out of the more than 1,000 non-NCAA Division I baccalaureate level college soccer programs.
Among the criteria for the selection to this list is a commitment to the holistic development of student-athletes; academic achievement and support for academic success; the overall college experience for participants in the program; and affordability, graduation rates and student satisfaction.

Rowan men's soccer owns a long tradition of success which includes National Championships in 1981 and 1990. In six seasons under current head coach
Scott Baker, the Profs have compiled an 84-35-4 record and have made four appearances in the NCAA Tournament. Last year's Rowan squad reached the NJAC Championship match and advanced to the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament.
Individually, the Profs placed five players on the 2019 NJAC All-Conference team —
Modou Sowe,
Jay Vandermark,
Kevin Primich,
James Weinberg and
Chad Yates — while Sowe and
Ryan Logar were All-Region honorees. Additionally, Logar was recognized for his excellence in the classroom as he was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District team for the second year in a row.
