PITMAN, NJ - Rowan's
Evan Vilaboy was named the NJAC Pat Baldiserra Midfielder of the Year, heading a group of eight Profs who were named to the 2026 All-Conference Teams, as voted on by the league's head coaches. Joining Vilaboy on the All-Conference First Team are
Christian McGillen and
Luke McNamee, with
DJ Mosley,
Darrin Doyle and
Greg Ferreira being named to the Second Team. Freshmen
Luca Ercolano and
Mike Moore received All-NJAC Honorable Mention.
Vilaboy, a junior, made an impact in his first year at Rowan, leading the team with 11 goals and 27 points, while ranking second in the conference in scoring. His five game-winning goals led the NJAC and he had two multiple-goal games this year, including a two-goal performance in the 2-2 tie with Montclair State. Vilaboy becomes the second Prof to earn the NJAC's top midfielder award, with the last being Chad Yates in 2022.
McGillen registered four goals and five assists on the year from his spot in the midfield. The senior was credited with two game-winning goals this year, including the one in the last-second win at Stockton. Â
McNamee, a junior defender, is a repeat selection to the team after picking up Second Team honors last year. The team tri-captain had six assists this year while helping to solidfy Rowan's defense, which allowed just 11 goals in 16 matches.
Ferreira earns a spot on the All-Conference Team for the third time, after being named to the First Team in both 2024 and 2025. The senior tri-captain anchored Rowan's stingy defense that limited the foes to 11 goals in the regular season. He also contributed two goals in back-to-back games with Kean and Stockton, while adding one assist on the year.
A freshman forward, Mosley registered at least one point in all but four matches. He was the Profs' third leading scorer with five goals and 14 points and tallied one gamewinner on the year when he scored a career-high two goals in a 2-1 victory over New Paltz.
Doyle, a freshman, played a key role on the Profs' defense that limited its opponents to 11 goals during the regular season. He was a starter in 14 contests for Rowan.
Ercolano was another freshman who played a key role for the Profs this season. The midfielder ranked fifth on the team in scoring with nine points, as he had two goals and five assists.
Freshman goalkeeper
Mike Moore was the starter all season long and led the NJAC with eight solo shutouts. He posted a goals against average of 0.72, which is second-best in the conference, allowing just 11 goals in 16 matches.
