th-ranked Cortland at the 19
th annual Cialella Classic at Rutgers-Camden. The Profs improve to 3-0 with the win.

Vandermark (Sickerville, NJ/Delran) headed the ball in at the right post off a restart by Mohammad Elgayar (Port Said, Egypt/Northeast) at 6:50 to give the Profs the quick lead. It was the newcomer's team-leading fifth goal in three matches this season.

Goalkeeper
James Weinberg (Morganville, NJ/Marlboro) and the Rowan defense shut down the Red Dragons the rest of the way. Cortland took 12 shots in the match, but Weinberg made five saves to record his first solo shutout of the season.

"We all fought together today to pull off a big win. We started with five freshman and two sophomores against a nationally-ranked team," said sixth-year head coach
Scott Baker. "There are areas of our game that have to improve, but we feel our captains and upperclassmen are leading the way and building a strong foundation for the 2019 season. With a mix of new and returning players battling together we showed a lot of promise today."

The Profs continue play in the tournament on Sunday when they take on the College of Staten Island at 2 p.m.
