GENEVA, OH – The Rowan University women's outdoor track & field team crowned three All-America honors on the final day of the NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships on Saturday. The three-day national meet was held at the SPIRE Institute.
The 4x100 meter relay team of
Sidney McLeod-Whitener (so. Philadelphia, PA/Friends' Central School),
Aaniyah Robinson (so. Totowa, NJ/Passaic County Tech.),
Myiah Sturdivant (so. Sicklerville, NJ/Timber Creek Reg.) and
Darielle Cross (jr. Cliffwood, NJ/Matawan Reg.) garnered All-America honors with a fifth place finish. The squad recorded a season best time of 46.85. They were seventh (47.22) in the prelims. This is Rowan's second straight All-America honor in the 4x100 meter relay.
Aspen McMillan (sr. Kendall Park, NJ/South Brunswick) and Cross earned All-America in the 100 meter hurdles. McMillan took seventh with a season top time of 14.09 and Cross placed eighth in 14.10. In the prelims, McMillan and Cross finished seventh (14.25) and eighth (14.26) respectively. This is Cross's second consecutive All-America accolade in the 100 meter hurdles, while it is McMillan's first.
In the 100 meter dash, Robinson claimed ninth crossing the line in 12.11. She placed second (11.97) in heat one of the prelims and ninth overall. This was Robinson's second time running in the final of the 100 meters at the NCAA Championships
