Day One Results

BOSTON, MA – Tyler Garland and Shai Mumford from the Rowan University men's track & field team competed at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday. The two-day national championships are being held at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston, MA. 
 
Mumford (sr. West Deptford, NJ/West Deptford) finished 11th overall in the 200 meters with a season best time of 22.02. He had the third fastest time in his heat. This is Mumford's second straight appearance at the indoor NCAAs. 
 
Garland (so. Glassboro, NJ/Deptford Twp.) had the sixth fastest time in the second heat of the 60 meter hurdles, which was 15th place (8.37). This season, Garland earned All-Region and New Jersey Athletic Conference second team honors.
