ASTON, PA – The Rowan University women's lacrosse team cruised to a 20-4 win at Neumann University on Wednesday.
The Profs had nine different players that scored at least one goal. Attack
Maddie Bray (sr. Medford Lakes, NJ/Shawnee) led the way with four goals and one assist. Attack
Jess Havers (jr. Marlton, NJ/Cherokee) followed with four points, two goals and two assists. Midfielder
Shannen Sterner (fr. Kendall Park, NJ/South Brunswick) contributed with three goals and one assist.

Liz Kramer (sr. Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview Reg.) totaled three goals while attack
Julianna Corson (fr. Hainesport, NJ/Rancocas Valley Reg.) had three points with two goals and an assist. Attacks
Mikala Gillespie (sr. Ocean City, NJ/Ocean City) and
Dara Hennessy (so. Marmora, NJ/Ocean City) each produced two goals while midfielder
Taylor Gretz (sr. Woolwich Twp., NJ/Kingsway Reg.) and attack
Elise Cohan (fr. Far Hills, NJ/Bernards) had one apiece. Attack
Julia Stumpf (jr. Sewell, NJ/Clearview Reg.) registered two assists.
Emma Frost (sr. Washington, NJ/Warren Hills Reg.) and
Reilly Shaup (fr. Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview Reg.) shared the duties in goal. Defender
Haley Symons (sr. Harrington Park, NJ/Northern Valley Old Tappan) compiled eight draw controls.
Rowan improves to 4-3 on the season while Neumann is 6-4 overall. Midfielder Kaitlyn Conrad (sr. Media, PA/Penncrest) scored twice for the Knights. Midfielders Brittany Cassidy (sr. Aston, PA/Sun Valley) and Reilly Fiedler (fr. Malvern, PA/Great Valley) each had one goal. Goalie Catriona Corrigan (fr. Aldan, PA/Bonner Prendergast Catholic) stopped 10 shots while goalie Sara Ropski (jr. Folcroft, PA/Bonner-Predergast Catholic) made one save.
Rowan jumped out to a 14-2 lead after the first half. Bray started the scoring (28:51) with an assist from Havers. Cassidy tied the score less than two minutes later then the Profs had two straight goals. Bray (26:40) and Kramer (26:12) each hit the net. Conrad cut the deficit to one (3-2) at 25:26. The Profs answered with 11 straight goals to end the period. Gillespie, Kramer and Hennessy each had two scores while Corson, Cohan, Gretz, Sterner and Havers all added one.
In the final stanza, Bray and Sterner contributed with two goals apiece. Corson and Havers both chipped in with one tally. Conrad and Fiedler each scored for the Knights.
Rowan is back home against Cabrini University on Saturday, March 30 at 1 p.m.
