RADNOR, PA – The Rowan University women's basketball team extended its win streak to seven games after a 109-86 victory against Eastern University at the Cabrini University Classic.
 
The Profs (10-1) had five players that scored in double figures.  Guard 
Grace Marshall led the way with 25 points.  She totaled 10 field goals (11 attempts) and five were three-pointers. Guard 
Nicole Mallard contributed with 19 points and guard 
Savanna Holt had 15 off the bench.

Kennedy Brown chipped in with 13 and 12 points respectively.  Center 
Ayanna Johnson grabbed eight rebounds and guard 
Paige Caldwell followed with seven.  
 
In the second round, Rowan plays host Cabrini on Tuesday, Dec. 31 at 2 p.m.  The Cavaliers had a 50-47 loss to Arcadia University in the first game of the classic. 
 
For Eastern (4-5), guard Minika Glenn scored a game-high 26 points and collected six rebounds, four assists and four steals. Guard Jaelyn Harris followed with 22 points and forward Kay Wulah totaled 13 points and nine boards.
 
Eastern led 10-6 with 4:51 left in the first quarter. Rowan then scored 17 straight points to end the period up 23-10.  Marshall contributed with eight points in the surge. The Profs had a 22 point advantage (36-14) at 5:40 in the second.  Guard Karlea Zazopoulos hit a three (1:42) to pull within seven (42-35).  
 
Johnson made a layup (0:37) and Marshall hit a jumper (0:04), which made the score 48-39 at the break.  Marshall was a perfect six-for-six from the floor with three threes in the first half.  
 
In the third quarter, Wulah had a layup (3:46) and Eastern trailed by 13 points (71-58).  Rowan built a 25 lead (83-58) with a 12-0 run with 1:06 remaining.  Forward 
Jazlyn Duverglas contributed with six points while Brown and Holt each had three.
 
The Eagles answered with an 11-1 surge to cut the deficit to 15 (84-69) at the end of the third. Glenn compiled nine of the 11 points.  The closest Eastern came was 12 points four times in the final quarter.  The last time was at 6:39 (91-79) after Glenn's layup. Mallard scored a basketball and Rowan was ahead by 20 (105-85) with 1:55 left.  Guard 
Carleigh Burns nailed a three (1:29) and Caldwell sank a free throw (0:56) for the final score.
