PITMAN, NJ – Rowan quarterback
Mike Husni has been named the NJAC Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Profs to a 24-20 comeback victory over rival TCNJ in the season finale.
Husni closed out his sophomore season with a career-best performance, completing 23-of-32 passes for 376 yards with three passing touchdowns.
With the Profs trailing 20-3 entering the fourth quarter, he engineered three straight scoring drives, including a 15-yard TD strike to
John Maldonado with just 28 seconds remaining to complete the comeback.
Husni currently ranks second in the NJAC in pass efficiency (145.3).
Rowan ends the season with a 4-3 record in the NJAC, and a 4-7 overall mark.
