UNION, NJ – Rowan's volleyball team scored a straight-set victory on the road at Kean, 3-0, on Tuesday night in NJAC action. The Profs improve to 11-9 (4-1 NJAC) while Kean is now 15-7 (4-1).
Rowan pulled out close wins in the first two sets, 25-22 and 27-25, and then finished out the match, 25-17. It was the second consecutive win for the Profs.
Kailey Gallagher topped the team with 12 kills, while
Natalie Ogden had 11 and
Megan Jacobi had 10.
Tori Mock set 34 assists with
Simone Sparano posting 17 digs.
The Profs had eight service aces in the win with two apiece from Ogden,
Cassidy Abdalla and
Jackie Camponelli.
Rowan heads to San Antonio, TX, this weekend to participate in the Trinity (TX) Tournament on Friday and Saturday, facing Mary Hardin-Baylor, California Santa Cruz, Northern Ohio and the host team.
