GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women's swimming & diving dropped its season opener to New York University, 199-101.
The Profs won the 200 medley relay in 1:49.59 with
Abigail Brous,
Emily Kopchick,
Daria Mnich and
Jordan McChesney. The 400 freestyle relay came in second place with a time of 3:43.85. Brous,
Nicole Harms,
Kylie Salerno and McChesney were on the free relay.
McChesney touched first in the 50 (24.87) and 100 (54.38) freestyles. Kopchick was the winner (1:08.88) in the 100 breaststroke and Harms took second (1:09.35).
Corinne Finkbinder finished second in the one-meter diving with 265.65 points. She was also second (283.88) on the three-meter board.
Klaudia Rzotkiewicz was fourth (254.25) in the one-meter diving and fifth (226.65) in the three-meter.
Alex Bambrick had a second place (2:10.99) in the 200 backstroke. Bambrick and Salerno finished fourth (1:01.37) and fifth (1:02.30) respectively in the 100 backstroke.
Abrous was third in the 50 free (25.60) and 100 backstroke (1:00.22).
Emily LaBenski took third (2:31.54) in the 200 breaststroke and Kopchick followed fourth (2:32.65). Mnich had a third place (1:01.88) in the 100 butterfly and Salerno was fourth (1:02.23).
Veronica Alferez finished third (2:15.93) in the 200 individual medley.
Carlee Timmins came in fourth (10:45.77) in the 1000 freestyle and fifth (5:20.18) in the 500.
Megan Miller had a fourth place (1:10.75) in the 100 breaststroke.
