SAN ANTONIO, TX – The Rowan University volleyball team closed out play in the Trinity University (TX) Tournament on Saturday, with losses to Ohio Northern and the host team Trinity.
Rowan opened the day losing in three sets to Ohio Northern (16-5) by scores of 25-22, 25-16 and 25-22. The Profs got eight kills apiece from
Megan Jacobi,
Kailey Gallagher and
Natalie Ogden.
Tori Mock handed out 30 assists and
Simone Sparano posted 24 digs.
Trinity (18-5), which won the tournament, defeated the Profs, 25-16, 25-16 and 25-12. Jacobi and Gallagher had six kills each with Sparano posting 12 assists.
Rowan (11-13; 3-1 NJAC) returns home on Tuesday, October 15 when it hosts Rutgers-Camden in a conference match.
