GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University men's soccer team is back on track with a 4-0 win over Kean University on Saturday night.
Midfielder
Aaron Robertson (fr. Neptune, NJ/Christian Brothers Academy) started the scoring at 7:16. Back
Nick Schlageter (jr. Jackson, NJ/Jackson Mem.) flicked the ball to the penalty spot to Robertson after a throw in by back
Matt Fahey (so. Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown).

Ryan Logar's (jr. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) marker at 63:14. Forward
Shane Doherty (sr. Delran, NJ/Delran) hit the net just over a minute later with an assist from forward
Ryan Campbell (sr. Wyckoff, NJ/Ramapo). Campbell went around a Cougar defender and passed to Doherty who scored on a breakaway. Back
Collin Cardona (jr. Elmer, NJ/Arthur P. Schalick) hit an open net for the final goal as time expired. Back
Will Sjaastad (sr. Allentown, NJ/Allentown) had the assist.
The Profs improve to 7-4 overall and 2-2 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC). The Cougars are 5-4-2 overall and 1-3 in the conference.
Rowan outshot Kean, 27-9. Goalkeeper
Kyle Dennis (sr. South Plainfield, NJ/South Plainfield) recorded his fourth shutout. Cougar goalie Derek Phells (sr. Avenel, NJ/Colonia) played the first 28 minutes and goalie Malcolm Moreira (jr. Hillside, NJ/St. Benedict's Prep) made four saves in the final 62 minutes.
Next week, Rowan hosts Muhlenberg College on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m.
