GLASSBORO, NJ – Back
Will Sjaastad scored the game-winning goal in the 98th minute to lift the Rowan University men's soccer team over Muhlenberg College, 2-1 on Wednesday.
Sjaastad (sr. Allentown, NJ/Allentown) ripped a one-time shot off a loose ball from the top of the box, into the back of the net. It was his first goal on the season.
The Profs move to 8-4 on the season and the Mules are now 3-4-2.
Rowan jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the 14th minute, when forward
Ryan Campbell (sr. Wyckoff, NJ/Ramapo) received a pass from midfielder
Aaron Robertson (fr. Neptune, NJ/Christian Brother Academy) and slotted his shot to the bottom right-hand corner.
The contest was eventually tied at one in the 47th minute when forward Kevin Hagan (jr. Lawrenceville, NJ/Princeton Day School) tapped in a pass from forward Matt Athanas-Linden (jr. Bethesda, MD/Mercersburg Academy (PA)). Goalie Raymond Leto (jr. Laurel Hollow, NY/Garden City) stopped a shot from Campbell in the 87th minute to force overtime.

Kyle Dennis (sr. South Plainfield, NJ/South Plainfield) ended the game with four saves.
The Rowan men's soccer team heads to New Jersey City University on Saturday, Oct. 6, with the game set to start at 1 p.m.
