Box Score MAHWAH, NJ – The Rowan University men's basketball team ended the regular season with an 82-75 loss at Ramapo College in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) game on Wednesday night.
The Profs are 13-12 overall and finish the conference slate with a 9-9 record. They are the fifth seed in the NJAC Championship Tournament and travel to the fourth-seeded Montclair State University in the first round on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 1 p.m. The Roadrunners (19-6, NJAC 15-3) are the top seed and will host a semifinal game on Wednesday, Feb. 21.
Ramapo forward Thomas Bonacum (sr. Fanwood, NJ/Scotch Plains-Fanwood) recorded a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Christopher Moseley (sr. Fair Lawn, NJ/Fair Lawn) posted 15 points and guard Patrick Peterson (so. Blauvelt, NY/Tappan Zee) contributed with 13. Forward Nick Stanek (sr. Royersford, PA/Spring-Ford) registered eight points and nine boards.

TJ Booth (sr. Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) tallied a game-high 23 points. Guard
Nick DePersia (jr. Cherry Hill, NJ/Haddonfield Mem.) produced 16 points and six rebounds. He recorded his 1,000
th career point, becoming the 27

In the opening period, guard James Long (sr. Cliffwood, NJ/St. Joseph's (Metuchen)) hit a three-pointer and the Roadrunners were ahead 10-6 (16:56). Forward
Austin Kearney (so. Monroeville, NJ/Gloucester County Christian) made a jumper (14:45) and the Profs were down by one (14-13). Bonacum and Long drilled back-to-back threes for a 20-13 advantage (13:08). Ramapo was up eight (28-20) at 8:01 before Rowan came within two (28-26) after six points by
Nick DePersia. The Roadrunners followed with a 9-0 rally that made the score 37-26 (3:47). Bonacum tallied seven of the points and Stanek added two foul shots. Ramapo was ahead 41-32 at the half.
The Profs posted the first seven points of the second stanza to cut the deficit to two (41-39). Peterson's three-pointer (14:05) made the score 49-47. Rowan followed with a 9-0 run to take a 56-49 lead with 12:21 left. The Profs were ahead 61-56 with 7:16 on the clock. The Roadrunners poured in nine consecutive points to take control, 65-61 (5:21).
Nick DePersia had a pair of free throws (1:35) to close the gap to two (74-72). Ramapo scored eight of the final 11 points, six of them coming at the line.
