MAHWAH, NJ – The Rowan University men's swim team won 184-78 at Ramapo College on Saturday.
The 200 medley relay of
Dan Lawton (sr. Yardley, PA/Pennsbury),
Matt Grubb (jr. Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview Reg.),
Jake Kayati (jr. Mullica Hill, NJ/Woodstown) and
Kevin Gillooly (so. Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill E.) won in 1:35.97. The 200 freestyle relay finished first with a time of 1:27.29.
Dylan Regan (so. Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview Reg.),
Nate Wojtowicz (sr. Centreville, MD/Queen Anne's County), Kayati and Gillooly were on the free relay.
Rowan is 4-1 overall and 3-0 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. Gillooly came in first in the 50 (21.25) and 100 (47.09) free. Lawton took first place in the 100 (54.71) and 200 (2:03.17) backstrokes.
Kevin Yangisawa (fr. Woodbridge, CT/Amity Reg.) was the winner in the 1000 (10:08.94) and 500 (5:02.81) freestyles. He also claimed first place (2:00.17) in the 200 butterfly. Grubb won the 100 breaststroke in 1:00.25. He had a second place (2:16.03) in the 200 breaststroke.
Steven Nguyen (so. Galloway, NJ/Absegami) touched first (2:06.44) in the 200 individual medley. He had a second place (56.54) in the 100 backstroke and
Christian Termine (so. Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill E.) was third (57.98). Nguyen also finished second (5:12.55) in the 500 free. Termine was second (2:06.72) in the 200 backstroke.
Kayati was the winner (52.78) in the 100 butterfly and he took second (2:03.04) in the 200 butterfly.
Cam Sexauer (sr. Pittsburgh, PA/Mount Lebanon) finished second (10:45.44) in the 1000 freestyle and third (5:16.84) in the 500 free. Regan finished second (22.31) in the 50 free and third (49.31) in the 100 freestyle.
In the 200 free,
Kyle Printon (so. Somerset, NJ/Bishop George Ahr) came in second (1:47.14) followed by
Matthew Maretic (fr. Closter, NJ/Northern Valley Reg. at Demarest), third (1:49.25) and Wojtowicz, fourth (1:53.10). Printon was third (54.23) in the 100 butterfly.
Aaron Schiff (so. Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill E.) finished third (1:01.82) in the 100 breaststroke.
Tanner Debus (fr. Fort Mill, SC/Nation Ford) had a third place (2:09.38) in the 200 individual medley.
