EWING, NJ – The Rowan University men's soccer team dropped its final regular season contest against The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) in New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) action, 1-0 on Wednesday.
The Profs are now 11-6 (5-4 NJAC) on the season and have locked down the No. 4 seed heading into the conference playoffs. The Lions wrap up their year posting a 9-6-2 record with a 3-4-2 NJAC mark.

Rowan fired off seven shots in the first but was unsuccessful in finding the back of the net, as it trailed heading into halftime.
The Brown and Gold battled it out in the final frame against TCNJ. Midfielder
Kevin Primich (jr. Hamilton, NJ/Allentown) ripped a shot in the 52nd minute but sent it wide. The Rowan offense picked up the pace late in the half but could not manage to score. Forward
Ryan Campbell (sr. Wyckoff, NJ/Ramapo) had back-to-back shots in the 83rd minute which were stopped, followed by a header from forward
Shane Doherty (sr. Delran, NJ/Delran) that was sent high. The Profs gave one last push to tie the game, but TCNJ locked down and held onto the win, 1-0.
The Brown and Gold ended the contest with 17 total shots, eight on goal, while holding the Lions to eight shots and one on net.
