GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University men's soccer team got edged by Ramapo College on senior night in New Jersey Athletic Conference action, losing by a final score of 2-1 on Saturday.
The Profs are now 11-5 (5-3 NJAC) on the season, while the Roadrunners move to 13-2-2 (5-2-1 NJAC).
The Brown and Gold started slow in the first half as they fell behind 2-0 through the first 45 minutes of play. Forward Joseph Fala (jr. Cape May Court House, NJ/Middle Twp.) notched both goals for the Roadrunners.

Shane Doherty (sr. Delran, NJ/Delran) earned a penalty kick but smoked the crossbar to keep the score the same. The Brown and Gold tallied a goal in the 75th minute to cut the deficit to 2-1. Back

Jackson Nwokeoma (fr. Houston, TX/Madonna Secondary School (Nigeria)) headed the ball into the right corner. Rowan attempted to tie the game up late as they ripped off back-to-back shots, but both were blocked as they lost, 2-1.

Kyle Dennis (sr. South Plainfield, NJ/South Plainfield) played the full time in net stopping three shots, where goalie Joshua Schaffer (so. Ringwood, NJ/Lakeland) racked up seven saves.
Rowan travels to The College of New Jersey for its final regular-season contest on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m.
