GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University men's basketball team hosts Montclair State University in the first round of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championship Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 3 p.m.
The Profs are the fourth seed (16-9) and the Red Hawks (13-12) are seeded fifth. Rowan ended its conference schedule with an 11-7 record while Montclair State finished with a 10-8 NJAC mark. In the other first round game, number six Stockton University (14-10) travels to the third seed New Jersey City University (19-6) for a 3 p.m. tip-off.
Tickets:
$5 for adults and $2 for students, children and senior citizens.
The first 200 Rowan students with ID for each game will receive a free ticket provided by Rowan Athletics, the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and the ProfPack. Athletic passes and IDs are not accepted for postseason games.
The Series:
Rowan leads the all-time series 70-52. Montclair State has won two straight games versus Rowan.
Regular Season:
Montclair State won 92-78 (Dec. 10) at Rowan.

Last Meeting In The NJAC Tournament:
Rowan was the second seed from the South Division in the 2007-08 NJAC Championship Tournament while Montclair State was the third seed from the North Division. The Red Hawks won the first round game, 83-72 in Glassboro.
