Jake Conners (jr. Manalapan, NJ/Manalapan) and Hall (fr. Trenton, NJ/Trenton Catholic) recorded one assist apiece. For the Warriors, midfielders Abdullahi Abdi (jr. Seattle, WA/James Garfield) and Jordan Logan (jr. Oxford, PA/Oxford Area) each tallied one score and midfielder/forward Mateo Velasquez (jr. Scotrun, PA/Pocono Mountain E.) had one assist.
All the scoring occurred in the second half. Sjaastad scored the first goal of the season on a penalty kick at the 47:57 mark. Abdi tied the scored when he converted a penalty kick with 41:13 left to play. Rowan regained the lead with 34:21 on the clock when Logar hit the back of the net. Conners and Doherty had the assists. Velasquez's corner kick was deflected into the goal by Logan with 29:31 remaining, tying the score at two.
Rowan returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 3 at noon against Washington & Lee University in the Gilmore Alumni Classic.
