Box Score 2 ASTON, PA – The Rowan University women's volleyball team won both of its matches in come from behind fashion at the Knights' Fall Classic hosted by Neumann University on Friday. The Profs defeated Keystone College and Kings College, 3-2.
The set scores against Keystone (10-7) were 25-23, 21-25, 17-25, 25-16 and 15-11. The Profs (5-13) were led by outside hitter
Megan Jacobi (fr. Nazareth, PA/Nazareth Area) who had 15 kills and five digs. Outside hitter
Erica O'Hagan (sr. Cedar Grove, NJ/Cedar Grove) tallied 11 kills. Outside hitter
Kailey Gallagher (fr. Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) chipped in with seven kills, four digs and three blocks. Setter
Kat Wolf (sr. Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) accumulated 25 assists and 11 digs. Setter
Katelyn Paxson (fr. Long Valley, NJ/West Morris Central) had 13 assists and 11 digs. Libero/defensive specialist
Jennifer Vorel (sr. Madison, NJ/Madison) recorded 18 digs and middle hitter
Erin Keegan (so. Fairfield, NJ/West Essex) had 10 digs and three blocks.
For Keystone, outside hitter Hannah Zuchowski (sr. Wellsboro, PA/Wellsboro Area) had 13 kills and 17 digs. Outside hitter Kristen Larkin (so. Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) added 10 kills. Setter Sydney Binkley (so. Toms River, NJ/Toms River N.) collected 22 assists, while setter/outside hitter Malley Bowen (fr. Oswego, NY/Tioga Central) added 18. Libero Pamela Heitman (so. Cortlandt Manor, NY/Walter Panas) recorded 25 digs.
Against King's (13-7), the set scores were 23-25, 26-28, 25-15, 25-23 and 15-8. Jacobi collected 16 kills and nine digs. Middle hitter/opposite

For the Monarchs, opposite/setter Julie Kollar (so. Nazareth, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) led the way way with 12 kills and 21 digs. Outside hitter Rachel Miller (so. Enola, PA/Cumberland Valley) had 13 kills and 26 digs. Setter Maddie Kumm (so. New Britain, CT/Mercy) collected 35 assists and 11 digs. Outside hitter Maureen Kloap (fr. Jim Thorpe, PA/Marian Catholic) had 20 digs.
The Knights' Fall Classic continues on Saturday, Oct. 8. The Profs face Washington College (MD) at 10 a.m. and St. Mary's University (MN) at 2 p.m.
