Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women's volleyball team celebrated Senior Night with a 3-0 victory over William Paterson University in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) match on Tuesday.
The set scores were 25-12, 25-18 and 25-20. The Profs are 8-20 overall and 4-4 in the conference. The Pioneers have a 14-12 record with a 1-7 NJAC mark. It was the final conference contest of the regular season for both teams. Rowan is the fifth seed in the conference tournament and will travel to Kean University for the first round on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m.

Kailey Gallagher (fr. Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) led the Profs with 14 kills and five blocks. Outside hitter
Megan Jacobi (fr. Nazareth, PA/Nazareth Area) and opposite
Maura Francis (fr. Philadelphia, PA/St. Basil Academy) added 11 and 10 kills respectively. Setter
Katelyn Paxson (fr. Long Valley, NJ/West Morris Central) and Wolf produced 22 assists apiece. Paxson also had 10 digs while Dantonio and O'Hagan chipped in with 20 and 10 digs respectively.
Middle hitter/outside hitter Alyson Toman (fr. Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus) and setter/outside hitter Amanda Lembo (so. North Haledon, NJ/DePaul Catholic) each registered seven kills. Setter Kendall Caruso (so. Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus) contributed with 23 assists and 12 digs. Libero Julianna Ginefra (jr. Springfield, NJ/Jonathan Dayton) recorded 12 digs and outside hitter Christine Griffith (so. Upper Saddle River, NJ/Northern Highlands Reg.) had 10.
With the score tied at two in the first set, the Profs took control with a 13-4 run. Rowan tallied the last four points of the set, with the final point coming on a kill by Gallagher. The Profs led by two (15-13) in the second stanza before recording four in a row for a 19-13 advantage. William Paterson battled back to make the score 21-18 but Rowan had the last four points to win the second set. The Profs jumped out to an 11-3 lead in the final set and the closest the Pioneers came after that was five, late in the set, including the end score.
Rowan heads to Hunter College for the New York Regional Challenge on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 28-29. The Profs begin with a match against Buffalo State College on Friday at 6 p.m.
