LEXINGTON, KY -- For the tenth consecutive year, the Rowan Volleyball program has been named as one of the 2026 AVCA Team Academic Award winners.

COMPLETE LIST OF HONOREES

Over 1,432 collegiate and high school volleyball teams earned a spot on the list from the American Volleyball Coaches Association in maintaining a year-long grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.

The Profs boasted a 3.35 team GPA during the 2025-26 academic year.

"It comes as no surprise to see our sport have more than 1,400 teams earn the AVCA Team Academic Award again this season," said AVCA CEO Jaime Gordon. "We are grateful for the dedication of the coaches and players who make both classroom and on-court success the lifeblood of their programs."

New head coach and Rowan alum Casey Burford begins her 2026 campaign in Glassboro on Tuesday, September 1st at home as the Profs welcome Franklin & Marshall.
