Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University men's soccer team defeated visiting Brooklyn College, 12-0 in the final non-conference game of the regular season on Monday.
 
The third-ranked Profs improve to 13-1-1 while the Bulldogs drop to 6-8-2. Rowan honored its two seniors at halftime, forward Vinny Ignatowicz (sr. Toms River, NJ/Toms River S.) and back Shane Patterson (sr. Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview Reg.).
 
Forward Zack Sakena (so. Upper Twp., NJ/Ocean City) registered two goals and one assist. Forward Burak Ozdemir (so. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) tallied two goals while back Garrett Hoagland (jr. Woolwich Twp., NJ/Kingsway Reg.) and Patterson both had one goal and two assists.
 
Forwards Shane Doherty (so. Delran, NJ/Delran) and Guilherme DeLucca (fr. Barueri Sao Paulo, Brazil/Colegio Rio Branco), midfielders Kevin Pereira (so. Allentown, NJ/Allentown) and Tim Cain (fr. Millville, NJ/Millville), back Will Sjaastad (so. Allentown, NJ/Allentown) and Ignatowicz all hit the back of the net one time. Midfielder Pete Hall (fr. Trenton, NJ/Trenton Catholic) and back Nick Schlageter (fr. Jackson, NJ/Jackson Mem.) recorded two assists apiece. Forwards Travis Ward (jr. New Egypt, NJ/New Egypt) and Ty Good (fr. Isaquah, WA/Skyline) each had one helper.
 
Goalkeepers Kyle Dennis (so. South Plainfield, NJ/South Plainfield) and Noah Baker (fr. Marlboro, NJ/Colts Neck) each made one save in 65:33 and 24:27 respectively. Brooklyn goalie Jerron Streete (fr. Brooklyn, NY/Midwood) stopped six shots in 57:48 and goalkeeper Utku Tanritanir (fr. Brooklyn, NY/Abraham Lincoln) made two saves in the final 32:12.
 
Rowan plays conference foe Ramapo College in the last home game of the regular season on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m.
