ResultsEWING, NJ – The College of New Jersey women's swimming and diving team won 183-107 over Rowan University on Friday night.
The 200 medley relay of
Polina Dineva (so. Bayville, NJ/Central Reg.),
Olivia Wojtowicz (sr. Centreville, MD/Queen Anne's County),
Gabby Gligor (fr. Medford, NJ/Shawnee) and
Miranda Coughlan (fr. Sewell, NJ/Clearview Reg.) won with a time of 1:52.61. The 400 freestyle relay finished second in 3:43.82. The free relay included Coughlan, Dineva,
Julie Sheehan (jr. Haddonfield, NJ/Haddonfield Mem.) and Gligor.
The Profs are 4-4 on the season and they finish 3-1 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference.
Julia DelNero (sr. Spring Lake Heights, NJ/Red Bank Catholic) took first place in the 1000 (11:20.44) and 500 (5:28.88) freestyles. She finished fourth (2:26.62) in the 200 individual medley.
Coughlan swam a winning time of 24.87 in the 50 free. She also touched first (55.01) in the 100 freestyle. Wojtowicz was the winner (1:09.20) in the 100 breaststroke. She had a second place in the 200 breaststroke (2:31.56) and 200 individual medley (2:16.08).
Gligor won (1:02.41) the 100 butterfly and was third (2:27.14) in the 200 butterfly. Sheehan took second (2:02.74) in the 200 freestyle. She was third (25.74) in the 50 free and fourth (57.21) in 100 freestyle. Burke came in third (2:18.65) in the 200 backstroke and fourth (2:28.76) in the 200 butterfly. Dineva had a third place (1:03.44) in the 100 butterfly.
Rowan hosts the University of Bridgeport on Saturday, Jan. 30 in the last home meet of the season.
