Box Score CAMDEN, NJ – The #25 Rowan University men's soccer team had its seven-game winning streak snapped in a 1-0 loss to #17 Rutgers-Camden on Wednesday night.
The Profs are now 8-2 overall and they are 1-1 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. The Scarlet Raptors have an overall mark of 8-1-1 and they are 3-0 in the conference.
The only goal of the game was scored at the 72:34 mark. Midfielder Clayton Taylor (so. Mendham, NJ/West Morris-Mendham) headed the ball past the keeper off an assist from back Riquan King (sr. Winslow, NJ/Winslow Twp.).
Rutgers-Camden goalie James Brett (fr. Palmyra, NJ/Palmyra) made four saves. Rowan keeper
Kyle Dennis (fr. South Plainfield, NJ/South Plainfield) stopped four shots. The Profs outshot the Scarlet Raptors, 15-11.
Rowan continues its three-game road trip at Ramapo College on Saturday, Oct. 3 at 1 p.m.
