ResultsGLASSBORO, NJ – The Johns Hopkins University women's swim team defeated Rowan University, 199-60 on Saturday.
The Blue Jays are undefeated with a 3-0 record and the Profs are 1-2 on the season. The Profs were second (1:42.65) in the 200 freestyle relay with
Miranda Coughlan (fr. Sewell, NJ/Clearview Reg.),
Julie Sheehan (jr. Haddonfield, NJ/Haddonfield Mem.),
Gabby Gligor (fr. Medford, NJ/Shawnee) and
Polina Dineva (so. Bayville, NJ/Central Reg). The 200 medley relay came in third (1:54.31). Coughlan,
Olivia Wojtowicz (sr. Centreville, MD/Queen Anne's County), Gligor and Sheehan were on the medley relay.
Wojtowicz finished second in the 400 individual medley (4:51.85) and 200 breaststroke (2:33.78). She had a third place (1:10.63) in the 100 breaststroke. Coughlan was second in the 50 free (24.82) and 200 backstroke (2:19.99).
Julia DelNero (sr. Spring Lake Heights, NJ/Red Bank Catholic) had a third place (5:29.57) in the 500 freestyle and she was fourth in the 400 individual medley (5:03.09) and 200 backstroke (2:29.01).
Dineva finished third (56.85) in the 100 free and fourth (2:04.86) in the 200 freestyle.
Nicole DePaola (sr. Scotch Plains, NJ/Scotch Plains-Fanwood) took third (2:28.25) in the 200 backstroke.
Sam Wahl (sr. Collingswood, NJ/Collingswood) came in third (2:40.51) in the 200 breaststroke. Gligor finished third (1:02.68) in the 100 butterfly.
Rowan hosts Ramapo College on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 1 p.m. in the first conference meet of the season.
