Box Score WILLIAMSPORT, PA – The Rowan University men's soccer team lost to Dickinson College, 2-1 in overtime in the first round of the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament on Saturday afternoon at Lycoming College.
 
Forward/midfielder Will Bracken (so. Easton, CT/Joel Barlow) scored the unassisted game-winning goal at the 95:10 mark. Rowan forward Travis Ward (so. New Egypt, NJ/New Egypt) tied the game (1-1) with 2:24 on the clock in the second half off assists from midfielder Shane Kohler (sr. Flemington, NJ/Hunterdon Central Reg.) and goalie Kyle Dennis (fr. South Plainfield, NJ/South Plainfield). Midfielder Jonathan Harper (sr. Westwood, MA/Westwood) gave Dickinson a 1-0 lead at the 56:58 mark. He took a cross from midfielder Matthew Edmonds (so. Lexington, MA/Lexington).
 
The Profs end their campaign with a record of 16-6. The Red Devils are 13-4-3 and advance to face Lycoming in the second round on Sunday, Nov. 15 at 1 p.m. Lycoming defeated Johnson and Wales University, 1-0 in the other first round game. The winner moves on to the sectional semifinals against either Amherst College or Morrisville State College on Saturday, Nov. 21.
 
Dennis made seven saves. Dickinson goalie Jeremy Palcan (jr. Park Ridge, IL/St. Ignatius Prep) stopped seven shots.
