Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women's soccer team shut out St. Joseph's College-Long Island, 7-0 on Wednesday night.

Michelle Carpino (fr. Brick, NJ/Brick Twp.) scored two goals and had one assist. Forwards
Erika Suhl (sr. Brick, NJ/Brick Mem.),
Samantha Reader (so. Maple Shade, NJ/Maple Shade),
Tiffany Kelly (jr. Parsippany, NJ/Parsippany) and
Kaylan Haughney (fr. Old Bridge, NJ/Old Bridge) each scored one goal. Midfielder
Victoria Camera (sr. Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton W.) also contributed with a goal.

Chelsea Eckel (sr. Jackson, NJ/Jackson Mem.) and
Deandra Turchi (gr. Turnersville, NJ/Paul VI), midfielder/forward
Lauren Coletti (fr. Old Bridge, NJ/Old Bridge) and midfielder
Chelsea Pitonyak (sr. Yardville, NJ/Steinert) all chipped in with an assist.
Rowan is 5-2 overall while St. Joseph's drops to 1-4-1 on the season. Goalie
Carleigh Trivino (so. Caldwell, NJ/Caldwell) made two saves in 67:24 and goalkeeper
Hayley Grimm (fr. Galloway, NJ/Absegami) was in the net for 22:36. For the Golden Eagles, goalkeeper Katie McGarrell (jr. Selden, NY/Newfield) stopped six shots in 71:09. Goalie Hannah Steffens (fr. Northport, NY/Smithtown Christian) played 18:51 and had two saves.
The Profs were ahead 3-0 after the first half. Camera started the scoring at 9:36 with an assist from Turchi. Suhl had the second goal (10:18) with a shot from 25 yards and Eckel had the assist. Carpino hit the top left corner of the net (42:23) after a cross from Pitonyak.
Kelly produced the fourth goal (63:04) on a feed from Carpino. Carpino (71:09) and Reader (74:45) had back-to-back unassisted goals. Haughney ended the scoring at 83:17 with a pass from Coletti.
Rowan starts its conference schedule at Kean University on Saturday, September 20 at 5 p.m.
