Box Score CAMDEN, NJ – The Rowan University women's volleyball team won 3-1 at Rutgers-Camden in the first New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) match of the season on Tuesday night.
The set scores were 25-13, 25-20, 18-25 and 26-24. The Profs are 4-5 overall. The Scarlet-Raptors have a mark of 3-9 and they are 0-1 in the NJAC.
Outside hitter
Danielle Havlicek (jr. Midland Park, NJ/Midland Park) led Rowan with 11 kills and she also had eight digs. Middle hitter
Morgan Mende (jr. Glen Rock, NJ/Glen Rock) added 10 kills and opposite/outside hitter
Kelsey Mazurek (jr. Easton, PA/Easton Area) had nine. Setters
Mary-Grace Testa (fr. Kearny, NJ/Mount Saint Dominic Academy) and
Rebecca Dantonio (so. Glen Mills, PA/Garnet Valley) recorded 11 and 10 assists respectively. Libero
Jennifer Vorel (so. Madison, NJ/Madison) and outside hitter
Erica O'Hagan (so. Cedar Grove, NJ/Cedar Grove) each had 12 digs.
For Rutgers-Camden, middle hitter Olivia Rowland (jr. Hillsborough, NJ/Hillsborough) accumulated 11 kills. Setter/defensive specialist Brooke Hassan (jr. Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) had 10 assists, while setter/outside hitter Nancy Brown (so. Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill E.) recorded nine. Libero/defensive specialist Melanie Kaiser (so. Somerdale, NJ/Sterling) collected 14 digs.
