Withler Marcelin ran the ball 34 times for 113 yards and one touchdown in a 31-21 victory over Framingham State University on Saturday afternoon.

Springfield, MA/Springfield Central) ran the ball five times for 34 yards, while running back Trevon Offley (jr. Brockton, MA/Brockton) had eight carries for 24 yards. Wideout Travis Hayes (jr. Framingham, MA/Framingham) tallied five receptions for 52 yards. Wide receiver Tevin Jones (jr. Springfield, MA/High School of Commerce) made four catches for 56 yards and one touchdown. Marcelin put Rowan on the scoreboard first, running the ball into the end zone from two yards out with 6:37 to play in the first quarter. On the ensuing kick-off, Davis scooped up a fumble and scampered 30 yards for a touchdown at the 6:26 mark for a 14-0 lead. A 37-yard field goal by kicker
Tyler Knighton (fr. Gibbstown, NJ/Paulsboro) extended the Profs' advantage to 17-0 with 4:21 remaining in the second quarter.
In the third, Framingham State scored its first points as Jones caught a 21-yard touchdown pass from Silva with 10:49 on the clock. The Profs regained their 17-point cushion when McCarty hit Goris for a 31-yard strike at the 3:15 mark. The Rams cut the deficit to 24-13 with 1:34 left as wide receiver Randall Kelleher (sr. Swampscott, MA/Swampscott) scored on a 23-yard pass from Silva. Tobler gave the Profs a 31-13 lead on a six-yard touchdown run with 14:41 remaining in the fourth. Offley caught a three-yard touchdown pass at 3:25 and Framingham State then had a successful two-point conversion, making the score 31-21.
