Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University men's basketball team won 76-59 over The College of New Jersey in a conference game on Wednesday night.
The Profs improve to 7-1 overall and they are 4-1 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. The Lions drop to 3-6 with a 1-4 conference mark. Forward

Kris O'Connor (jr. Mount Laurel, NJ/Paul VI) poured in 18 points and forward
Ike Robinson (jr. Trenton, NJ/Conwell-Egan Catholic (PA)) contributed with 13 points and eight boards. Forward
Daniel Waynick (sr. East Windsor, NJ/Hightstown) brought down six rebounds and forward
Skylar Moore (jr. Westville, NJ/Hempstead (NY)) recorded four steals.
For the Lions, center Bobby Brackett (jr. Lawrenceville, NJ/Lawrence) had 20 points and eight rebounds. Forward Skyelar Ettin (sr. Princeton, NJ/Princeton) tallied 14 points and guard Jayson Johnson (sr. Columbus, NJ/Life Center Academy) chipped in with 12.
Rowan scored the first five points of the contest after a three-pointer by O'Connor (19:26) and a layup by Simpson (18:53). Waynick's lay-in made the score 15-10 (13:34) before the Lions had a run to tie the game at 17. Brackett recorded four points and guard Eric Klacik (so. Basking Ridge, NJ/Ridge) drilled a three. Dan Brogan (jr. Northvale, NJ/Northern Valley Old Tappan) made two foul shots. Ettin converted a free throw (2:20) to cut the deficit to 10 (34-24). Simpson nailed a triple (1:40) and finished a dunk (1:24) for the final points of the period and a 39-24 halftime advantage. He led all scorers in the stanza with 15 points.
In the second half, Ettin's jump shot brought TCNJ within 11 (43-32) at 17:11. Rowan went on a 7-0 run to lead 50-32 with 15:08 on the clock. Simpson went two-for-two at the line, O'Connor made a three and Robinson had a layup. Ettin converted a foul shot (13:42) and the score was 55-36. The Profs followed with a 13-4 spurt and they were up 68-40 (8:07). A free throw by guard Eric Murdock, Jr. (fr. Bridgewater, NJ/Bridgewater-Raritan) made the score 71-54 with 3:42 to go. O'Connor ended the scoring with two foul shots with 57 seconds left.
