Box Score MONTCLAIR, NJ – The Rowan University field hockey team won 3-2 in overtime at Montclair State University on Saturday night.

Emily Bucher (jr. Gloucester City, NJ/Gloucester City) had the assist. The Profs are 12-3 overall and 5-0 in the conference. The Red Hawks have a 12-4 record and a 3-2 NJAC mark. In this week's NCAA South Atlantic Region Rankings, Montclair State was third followed by Rowan, fourth.

With seven seconds left in regulation, Prof midfielder
Karlee Henderson (sr. Elmer, NJ/Woodstown) tied the score at two. Her shot from the left side deflected off a defender's stick.
In the second half, forward Danielle Butrico (so. South Plainfield, NJ/South Plainfield) put the Red Hawks ahead 2-1 at 45:23. She tipped in a shot by back Abby Erler (sr. New Hampton, NH/Newfound Reg.).

Sam Browne (jr. West Milford, NJ/West Milford) scored the Rowan goal (12:16) when she knocked in a rebound. Erler collected her own rebound and hit the right side of the cage (18:58).
Next week, Rowan travels to SUNY New Paltz on Wednesday, October 29 for a 3:30 p.m. game.
