Box Score CLARKS SUMMIT, PA – The Rowan University volleyball team won it second straight match this evening, defeating Baptist Bible College, 3-0. The scores were 25-18, 25-10, 25-13.

Rowan jumped out to a 14-3 lead in the opening set. Baptist Bible got as close as four points at 20-16, but the Profs scored five of the final seven points for the win. In set two, the Defenders stayed close and trailed 9-6. Rowan then went on a 16-4 run to end the set and led 2-0. Set three saw the Profs score the first four points. Rowan was up 8-3 and then went on a 7-0 run to extend its advantage to 15-3. Rowan had as much as a 14-point lead in the third set and won by a 12-point margin.

Danielle Havlicek (so., Midland Park, NJ/Midland Park) and Dakota Oeskovic (sr., Pine Beach, NJ/Toms River S.) each recorded eight kills to lead Rowan. Rebecca Dantonio (fr., Glen Mills, Pa/Garnet Valley) had 29 assists and five digs, while Casey Grasso (sr., Wilmington, DE/Alexis I. duPont) accumulated three service aces and 18 digs.

Rowan is now 3-3 and returns to action on Saturday, September 14 with a home tri-match. The Profs will face Immaculata University at 11 am and Washington College at 3 pm.
