SWARTHMORE, PA – The Rowan University men's swim team won 153-104 over Swarthmore College on Saturday. The Profs are 6-0 on the season.

Rowan took first place in the 200 medley and 200 freestyle relays with times of 1:39.43 and 1:28.43 respectively.  The medley relay included Larry Dow (sr. Alexandria, VA/T.C. Williams), Tyler Coe (so. North Brunswick, NJ/North Brunswick Twp.), Pat Malone (sr. Sewell, NJ/Gloucester Catholic) and Jesse Novak (fr. Bridgewater, NJ/Bridgewater-Raritan). Malone, Novak, Dow and Troy Cervini (jr. Vineland, NJ/Vineland) made up the free relay.
 
Steve Buzby (fr. Linwood, NJ/Mainland Reg.) won the 1000 freestyle in a time of 10:11.47. Zac Wister (jr. Haddon Heights, NJ/Haddon Heights) took first in the 200 freestyle (1:49.37), while Kyle DeVore (fr. Annapolis, MD/South River) swam to a first place finish in the 100 backstroke (54.74).
 
Coe was the winner of the 100 breaststroke, swimming a time of 1:01.19. He also finished second in the 50 freestyle (22.76) and 200 breaststroke (2:17.50). Malone took first in the 100 (52.32) and 200 butterflies (2:00.29). Novak won the 50 (21.55) and 100 (47.86) freestyles. Mike Simunek (fr. Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill E.) finished first in the 200 breaststroke (2:17.01) and second in the 100 breaststroke (1:02.78).
 
Paul Long (fr. Medford, NJ/Shawnee) swam 5:01.08 in the 500 freestyle for first place and finished second in the 200 freestyle (1:49.42). Connor Buck (so. Eastampton, NJ/Rancocas Valley Reg.) was the winner in the 400 individual medley (4:18.34).
 
Tylar Warfle (fr. Vineland, NJ/Vineland) finished second in the 200 butterfly (2:09.70). Dow took third in the 100 backstroke (58.36) and Brad Hawkins (sr. Millville, NJ/Cumberland Reg.) finished third with a time of 2:08.96 in the 200 backstroke.


Rowan travels to Pace University on Saturday, November 23 for a 2 p.m. meet.
