GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women's swim team had a 147-104 win over Salisbury University on Tuesday evening.

The Profs took first place in the 200 medley (1:56.79) and 400 freestyle (3:52.66) relays.  The medley relay included Lauren Grajek (sr. Freehold, NJ/Freehold Twp.), Olivia Wojtowicz (so. Centreville, MD/Queen Anne's County), Julie Sheehan (fr. Haddonfield, NJ/Haddonfield Mem.) and Victoria Grimsgaard (so. Eatontown, NJ/Monmouth Reg.).  Sheehan, Grajek, Leanne Zaug (jr. Florham Park, NJ/Hanover Park) and Grimsgaard were on the free relay. 

In the individual events, Grajek came in first in the 100 (1:03.91) and 200 (2:20.19) backstrokes.   Sam Wahl (so. Collingswood, NJ/Collingswood) took first in the 100 (1:12.19) and 200 (2:35.10) breaststrokes.  Grimsgaard swam 25.22 in the 50 free for first place.  She also won the 100 freestyle in 56.88  Julia DelNero (so. Spring Lake Heights, NJ/Red Bank Catholic) finished first (11:22.61) in the 1000 freestyle. 

Allison Schneider (sr. Cranford, NJ/Cranford) had first places in the 500 freestyle (5:29.89) and 200 individual medley (2:20.41).  She took second in the 200 free (2:02.53).  Christine Gustafson (fr. Clifton, NJ/Clifton) won the 100 butterfly (1:03.86) and was second in the 200 butterfly (2:24.59).  Wojtowicz had second places in the 100 breaststroke (1:12.23) and 200 individual medley (2:21.76).   

In the 100 backstroke, Kelly Gallagher (so. Haddon Twp., NJ/Haddon Twp.) finished second (1:05.95) followed by Brittany Sims (fr. Stratford, NJ/Sterling), third (1:07.16).  Alyssa Schaefer (jr. Ringwood, NJ/DePaul Catholic) and DelNero were third (2:27.47) and fourth (2:30.92) respectively in the 200 butterfly. Rikki Berk (so. Wayne, NJ/Wayne Hills) came in third in the 100 breaststroke (1:13.08).

Salisbury's Victoria Radcliffe (fr. Ellicott MD/Howard) was the winner in the 200 freestyle (2:00.10).  Nicki Schult (so. Bowie, MD/Archbishop Spalding) finished first in the 200 butterfly (2:23.59) and third (2:25.55) in the 200 individual medley.  Maggie Deering (fr. Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill W.)  took second (12:14.12) in the 1000 freestyle and Emily Campbell (jr. Radnor, PA/Radnor) was third (12:33.08).  Brittany Steele (jr. Toms River, NJ/Toms River N.) had second places in the 100 freestyle (1:01.86) and 200 breaststroke (2:49.14).
