GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University men’s soccer team shut out visiting Richard Stockton College, 3-0 in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) game on Thursday night.

The Profs have a 4-3-2 record with a 1-1-1 conference mark.  The Ospreys are 6-3-1 overall and 0-2-1 in the NJAC. 

Back Zack Zahrend (sr. Seaville, NJ/Ocean City) headed in the first goal at 13:11 on a free kick by midfielder Nick Bolton (so. Dover, DE/Dover).  Midfielder Andrew Brawner (jr. Mt. Laurel, NJ/Lenape) scored at 21:07 with an assist from back Robby Davis (jr. North Wildwood, NJ/Cape May County Technical).  In the second half, forward Christian Fountain (fr. Fredericksburg, VA/Stafford) registered the third goal at 77:54.  He knocked in a pass by forward Joe Parella (sr. Howell, NJ/Howell). 

Rowan edged Richard Stockton in shots, 10-9.  Goalkeeper Ryan Gill (so. West Deptford, NJ/West Deptford) made five saves for his third shutout on the season.  For the Ospreys, goalkeeper Tim Brett (so. Palmyra, NJ/Palmyra) stopped two shots.

Rowan travels to William Paterson University on Saturday, October 1 for a 1 p.m. conference game.
