GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University and Montclair State University men’s soccer teams battled to a scoreless tie after 90 minutes and two 10-minute overtimes.

The Profs are 2-2-1 overall while the Red Hawks have a 3-1-2 mark. It was the first conference game of the season for both teams.

Montclair State accumulated 30 total shots, 16 in the second half. Rowan ended the game with nine shots. Goalkeeper Anthony Rogic (jr. Boonton, NJ/Morris Catholic) made three saves in the Red Hawks’ net. Goalkeeper Ryan Gill (so. West Deptford, NJ/West Deptford) stopped eight shots for the Profs.

Next, Rowan travels to Stevenson University on Saturday, September 17 for a 7 p.m. nonconference game. Montclair State hosts Medgar Evers College on Saturday at 3 p.m.
