GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University men’s soccer team had a scoreless tie after two overtimes against conference opponent Rutgers-Newark on Saturday night.

The Profs are 7-4-3 overall and 3-2-2 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference.  All three of Rowan’s ties this season were 0-0.  The Scarlet Raiders have a 10-5-1 record with a 3-2-1 conference mark.

Rowan totaled 23 shots and Rutgers-Newark had 18.  Goalkeeper Ryan Gill (so. West Deptford, NJ/West Deptford) made 10 saves for the Profs.  For the Scarlet Raiders, goalkeeper Jonathan Frances (jr. Chandler, AZ/Hamilton) stopped 10 shots.

Rowan is home against on Wednesday, October 19 against New York University at 7 p.m.
